About the role 

Planning Manager will mana
ge the contact with the warehouse and the logistics partner but also be in relations with Marketing, Sales or Finance units to lead the consolidation of demand planning (forecasts), inventory and supply. They will also define, set up and steer the logistics policy of the company, optimize the resources and related costs and make sure the provided services meet the customers' satisfaction, in compliance with the subsidiary's objectives and corporate standards.

Duties 
  • Propose and guarantee the subsidiary's target precent of fill by steering the planning of needs and resources
  • Guarantee the quality of the stock on the financial level as well as on the physical level
  • Guarantee the correct administration of the logistics information systems
  • Be answerable for the compliance with the application of the reference systems
  • Participate to the negotiation of contracts (transportation, storage, delivery) and make sure they are correctly executed
  • In co-operation with the involved departments, generate operating and capital budgets, and then make sure they are complied with
  • Develop reporting and analytical tools to support the business and different departments
Skills & Experience  
  • Experience in managing a planning or inventory team that is going through process change
  • Exposure to implementing or assisting an S&OP implementation
  • A proven experience in managing high volumes of SKUs
  • Ability to utilise an ERP and MRP software and upskill people on these systems.
  • Have strong analytical experience coupled with the ability to present on the extrapolated data
