The role
Enabling the achievement of forecast and the objective, goals, strategies and measurement (OGSM) for the assigned product group or customers by instituting strategic business plans that integrate, align and achieve customer and business plans. Assist Head of Marketing, National Key Account Manager and Sales Managers in developing and monitoring the customer marketing activities to achieve sales; distribution and merchandising objectives for the ANZ market.

Key duties and responsibilities:
· Leads cross functional team members in development and implementation of the 4 Ps (product, price, place and promotion). Ensures execution of plans through regular communication and interaction with the sales team, key account team and in market visits
· Provides sales volume input for the assigned brands to increase the accuracy of the SKU level forecast. Validates category assumptions to ensure accuracy of the information.
· Conducts regular update communication sessions between groups to ensure alignment across teams on forecast attainment
· Ensure division follows organisations global policies, guidelines, strategies, and corporate direction.
· Communicates key strategies, insights, and initiatives between field and internal teams. Gains alignment across a matrix environment to support goal achievement
· Develops and presents channel, customer, category and brand reviews to drive brand and category performance
· Analyses channel and customer trends and develops insights for sales, key accounts and marketing
· Managing the production of customers’ promotional materials, including leaflets, posters, and flyers which can include writing and proof reading copy and liaising with designers and printers
· Collaborates with cross functional partners such as Product Marketing, Supply Chain, IT, and Finance to track orders and ensure product shipment allocations meet company guidelines
· Ensure a close working relationship with management team to achieve best practices.
· Leads channel specific business planning process by preparing insights and analytics to support marketing strategy, preparing planning templates, communicating the process, and conducting internal meetings to complete the customer, sales team and key account team planning processes
· Provide input into ANZ marketing strategies and activities.
· Monitoring customer marketing campaigns including return on investment
· Managing the production of merchandise materials including cabinet displays and wall posters
· Ensure all advertisements and promotional materials and/or activities are reviewed and approval in accordance with local SOPs and compliance processes
· Seeks out and secures funds from sales, key accounts or marketing to support channel and customer efforts. Ensures promotional and marketing initiatives remain within budget. Maximises trade spend dollar allotment by tracking and monitoring return on investment of trade funds to achieve enhanced share with minimal expenditure
· Develops and manages promotional programs, such as unique service offerings, and in store displays, to support customer sales, while monitoring performance to track and report results. Creates and manages portfolio assortment and merchandising recommendations.
· Organises, analyses and draws conclusions from insights from various data sources and translates findings for application at the channel and customer level
· Complies with company policies and procedures at all times
· Is aware of all of the relevant business policies and procedures at all times
· Influences the direction of the franchise
· The ability to devise and deliver persuasive presentations, based on data driven insights and facts, to gain support for business strategies and /or initiatives
· Ability to complete projects and follow processes to deliver results, including volume achievements
· Planning and execution of business planning process and manage funds and resources to deliver greatest outcome for the company

Experience required:
· Minimum: 6 years prior experience in either consumer package goods, customer marketing, product marketing or medical device knowledge and experience is required
· Product management and customer facing experience is required
· Ability to work effectively in a fast paced, complex matrix, changing environment is required
· Solid strategic skills, pragmatic approach and execution focused.
· Ability to influence decision makers up and down two or more levels, with and without authority, to ensure fully aligned customer/company business plan
· Effective communication and negotiation skills
· Ability to identify and asses risk and prioritise competing demands
· Strong computer skills including MS Office Suite application (Powerpoint, Excel etc.) database information sources and web applications
