In this role
Reporting to the Business Development Manager, the Communications Coordinator will provide professional support, review all Service Businesses marketing and communications activities, focusing on the production of structured and integrated marketing practices that take into consideration the University's style guide, good practices, audience and marketing objectives.
The candidate
To be successful you will have;
  • Demonstrated ability to work under pressure including the ability to achieve outcomes, prioritise work, meet deadlines etc.
  • Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills to work across the business including liaising extensively with all levels of staff
  • Proven ability/experience to write in a creative, engaging and professional manner
  • Ability to utilise brand guidelines to ensure consistency of brand and message across all communications and events
  • Advanced level computer skills including Microsoft Office (specifically PowerPoint, Word and Excel) and other relevant software where necessary.
  • Meticulous attention to detail
  • Ability to think innovatively and creatively about internal communications
  • Experience using social media will be highly advantageous
