PACT Group,HSE Advisor Jobs in Australia

We are currently seeking a Health Safety Environment (HSE) Advisor to join our  national team based in Sydney but with operations that extend to Queensland and Victoria. This newly created position will be responsible for ensuring all system requirements are upheld, whilst overseeing site  teams to ensure they are fulfilling company and legislative requirements.

This role will report directly to the Divisional General Manager and will require you to work with Business unit managers across the Division to achieve safety goals as set by the Division and the Corporate objectives.
Your main duties will include (but not limited to):
  • Administer specific workshop and project Health Safety Environmental Plans
  • Administer HSE registers in line with Organisation wide high standards
  • Carry out standard HSE tasks, including safety and environmental inspections, toolbox talks, safety interactions, SWMS/JHA surveillances
  • Ensure compliance with set procedures and requirements
  • Investigate all incidents with efficiency, implement corrective actions and ensure debriefs are conducted with teams
  • Assist with internal and external audits
  • Establish, communicate and roll out specific Standard Operating Procedures for workshop tasks
  • Prepare reports and statistics for the Senior Management team.
You will have:
  • Minimum of 5 years in a HSE role
  • Strong HSE focus with a commitment to uphold our mission statement and core values
  • Proven Tertiary Qualifications in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Management or both
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills
