Our University Partnerships Department is the latest stage in our evolution. Partnering with leading Australian Universities, we assist them to acquire and retain students for online programs that deliver scale and accessibility through a flexible and highly desirable student experience.
We are seeking a Team Leader to provide operational leadership, and manage the daily performance and productivity of a team of Student Recruitment Advisors within a growing outbound call center.
As the successful candidate, you will be highly organised with the ability to provide structure to the team whilst remaining focused on achieving high results, and ensure the team maximize enrollments on behalf of our university partners. Ideally, you come from a strong sales background and have experience driving sales results using a combination of best practice and innovative selling techniques, and are able to impart this knowledge among the team.
In order to maintain (and improve) our high-performing culture you will provide daily coaching and mentoring to assist with sales excellence, and be proficient in designing efficient and innovative solutions to problems, making it easier for the team to deliver excellent results.
  • Achieve team annual and teaching period enrolment targets while maintaining a commitment to the ideal student experience
  • Provide leadership, coaching and development to team members
  • Conduct performance analysis consistently to understand trends, issues, opportunities and adjust operational effectiveness plan accordingly
  • Supply data rich evidence to support conversion issues or opportunities
  • Provide quantifiable evidence of reasons applications are not converting, reasons they are, road blocks, issues, alternatives

Selection criteria:
  • A strong sales focus with experience in lead generation, sales processes and general selling principles 
  • Substantial experience in a leadership role within a successful outbound sales call-center environment
  • Extensive experience in a service delivery role
  • Experience recruiting and on-boarding large volumes of new team members
  • Experience maintaining an ongoing training schedule for team members
  • Knowledge of, or experience in developing customer-centric improvements 
  • Proficiency with office tools including Microsoft and Google applications
