$60,551 - $67,037 + 9.5% Superannuation (VPS 3.1)

Victoria State Emergency Service (VICSES) is a volunteer based emergency service.

Our volunteers have a wide range of roles including planning for and responding to floods, severe storms, earthquakes, tsunami, road rescue as well as search and rescue. VICSES volunteers also provide a support role to other emergency service agencies including Victoria Police.

The Role

In this role you will:

deliver competency based training and assessment programs

provide support and coaching to volunteer trainers/assessors

maintain volunteer training and assessment records to meet VICSES RTO Compliance and OHS standards.  

This role requires the ability to coordinate competing demands and to deliver outcomes within clearly defined time and resource constraints.  You will need to demonstrate the ability to provide excellent customer service and support to our volunteers.  


Certificate IV (Training and Assessment) or equivalent qualification

A sound knowledge of, and experience in working within a national competency based training framework environment

Victorian drivers licence

Sound written and communication skills, including presentation skills and a high level of facilitation skills

Sound working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications

Victoria State Emergency Service (VICSES) is the control agency during emergency response to flood, severe storm, earthquake and tsunami in Victoria, and is the largest provider of road rescue in the state. VICSES also provides a support role to other emergency service agencies including Victoria Police.
