• Salary Approx $100,000 per annum
• Up to 12% Superannuation

The Position
This position in the Infrastructure and Planning – Major Projects Group will have a focus to identify, initiate and deliver infrastructure projects to assist Council to achieve its strategic objectives utilising project management methodologies throughout the project lifecycle. The role involves managing multi-disciplined project teams to deliver multifaceted projects in accordance with Project Sponsor expectations.

Essential Selection Criteria
1. Significant experience in initiating and developing complex multi-faceted projects
2. Demonstrated knowledge of project management methodology
3. Demonstrated understanding of civil infrastructure
4. Demonstrated experience in writing business cases and funding applications
5. Demonstrated leadership ability in a team environment

The successful applicant will ideally have:
• Graduate degree in Civil Engineering allowing Membership of The Institution of Engineers Australia as a Chartered Professional Engineer
• Registration as Professional Engineer of Queensland
• Post Graduate qualification in Project Management
