The opportunity has arisen for a Drain
age / Civil Engineer to join a municipality located in Melbourne.

As the successful candidate, you will be responsible for storm water drainage design. You will also be responsible for investigating drainage infrastructure and council assets, conducting site inspections, responding to complaints from the general public about drainage problems and providing engineering solutions to drainage issues.

As the ideal candidate you will have:

• A tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering, or relevant qualifications/ experience
• An Intermediate Civil Engineer, with extensive experience  dealing with complex drainage problems, ideally within a Local Government environment
• Experience in DRAINS Modelling
• M.U.S.I.C. Modelling
• Integrated water management
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills
• A current driver's license
