Unlike traditional monitoring system, meteocontrol analyses energy generation by renewable sources such as photovoltaics and compare it with either simulated or onsite weather corrected modeled result providing smart monitoring. This site specific smart monitoring offers a significant variance analysis for the earliest possible defect detection.

The Role and Responsibilities 
We are looking for experience customer support engineer for a 6 months contract with potential to lead to a permanent position. This is a flexible and dynamic role encompasses both onsite and telephone support for solar PV monitoring system. The successful candidate will be involved in backend office commercial and utility scale project system design and see through its implementation. This includes system specific layout and CAD circuit single line diagram.  
The customer support engineer will conduct solar monitoring system setup in online meteocontrol portal. This includes support either over the phone or travel to client offices and system sites for installation and commissioning services. An analytical mind with both IT and PV knowledge are required in fault analysis and develop solution recommendation to customers.  
There will also be opportunity to conduct new product test, provide technical, practicality and quality recommendation. The successful candidate will be base in North Sydney office and reports directly to the Technical Manager.
The Requirement 
  • Completed Bachelor of Engineering: Electrical, Information and Communication Technology or Photovoltaics. 
  • With working experience in customer service role, dealing with installers both over the phone and onsite. 
  • Demonstrate inspiration, innovation and passion in getting job well done.
  • IT, Solar PV and electrical knowledge.
  • Familiar with Local Area Network, BUS and low voltage communication protocol.
  • Familiar with 3G, RF and WiFi communication devices. 
  • Ability to learn and understand new technologies.
  • Ability to communicate with overseas counterpart in different time zone and adapt work schedule to accommodate the time differences. 
  • Outstanding customer service skills via phone, email and in person. 
  • Ability to work in multitasking environment. 
  • Possess a valid Australian driving licence.
