WHO IS ALL STAR EARLY LEARNERS?

All Star is an early learning service which teaches and cares for children 0-5 years. We are small enough to maintain open interactions between teachers, families, children and the community, but large enough to be equipped with excellent resources and facilities, as well as supportive programs and training. Collaborative communication is adopted between children, teachers, management and families. Learning from the community, excursions and extra-curricular activities are an important part of our program, as are the inter-personal connections with our families.

WHAT IS NEEDED TO APPLY?

  • Either a completed or 'soon to be completed': Diploma in Children's Services or Bachelor degree in Education or Teaching
  • Experience working in a Children's Service.
  • First Aid qualification and knowledge in Child Protection
  • Knowledge of service policies and the 'Early Years Learning Framework' Curriculum (or equivalent)
  • Experience in program planning and conducting quality observations to reflect on children's learning
  • Excellent communication skills, reliability and the ability to demonstrate positive interactions
  • Ability to inspire the children through health and well-being, creative play, leisure, language, social and cognitive experiences
  • Ability to respond effectively to the needs of the individual child or group of children
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and contribute pro-actively to the program
