The Opportunity

The Faculty of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences is dynamic, innovative and ambitious, engaging in world-class research and being a leading education provider for over 130 years. The faculty is a member of the National Alliance for Pharmacy Education (NAPE). We are currently seeking a high achieving and organised pharmacist to join the NAPE Intern Training Program (ITP) team as the Intern Program Pharmacist.

As the successful candidate you will assist in the evidence based review and development of teaching material for the NAPE ITP and in the maintenance of a consistent Intern Training Program across member Universities. You will provide support to the Faculty Dean and other stakeholders in the program. You will ensure consistency in documentation and work with the NAPE ITP managers to ensure the NAPE ITP meets all accreditation requirements as specified by the Australian Pharmacy Council.

To thrive in this position you will be registered as a Pharmacist in Australia with recent practice experience and highly developed clinical skills. You will also have excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills with the proven ability to prioritise tasks. You will have an understanding of contemporary issues affecting the practice of pharmacy. Experience in, or an understanding of the higher education sector is desirable but not essential. There will be opportunity for you to develop your teaching credentials consistent with the Australian Advanced Pharmacy Practice Framework.
