mid to high end commercial furniture products which includes both local and international brands they are pushing the boundaries of innovation with a new first to market product range about to launch. Now ready to take on significant expansion nationally they require an experienced industry management professional to lead the sales, brand and product development division.
Working with the MD to develop and realize the company vision and growth objectives, your role will be a mix of high level short, mid & long term strategy, people development & leadership, product development and key account development with major design practices, corporate clients & project management firms.

  • Direct management of a team of 10 with indirect reports of 4
  • Devise and execute the launch of the Sydney showroom & market entry
  • Senior level business development with key firm and corporate clients
  • Leading major national & international project specifications and bids
  • Product & range expansion including securing distributorship contracts with international brands
  • Working with local suppliers to develop innovative new products
  • Jointly with the Directors set growth, revenue, profit budgets for the business and individual BDM's
  • Client entertainment, PR and senior representative at industry functions
  • Create individual and team development and training programs
  • Input into the strategic direction of the business and expansion
  • Opportunity to put your personal stamp on the expansion and growth of an already established business
  • Lucrative profit share opportunity, with a mid term view to equity stake
  • Strong background in managing people, driving a team to continual improvement and people engagement
  • Willingness to have a significant involvement with clients and in the field with the team
  • Ability to develop business strategy, keep in front of the market and identify & secure opportunities with new brands, alliances etc
  • Ideal but not essential, an understanding of the commercial furniture market, brands and relationships with international brands
  • A strong network within the major design practices, project management/fitout firms or commercial property markets on the East Coast.
