About Us
Lifestart is an NGO that supports children and young people living with disabilities or delay aged 0-24 years, their families and carers through:

  • early intervention,
  • school age years support,
  • specialised therapy,
  • inclusion in their community,
  • family information and support, and
  • helping communities and services to build capacity for inclusion.
We are seeking a highly motivated and proficient Branch Administration Officer to join a growing team of Lifestart professionals in the Western Region, based at Baulkham Hills.
This is a permanent full-time position (38 hours a week). Candidates interested in temporary work are also welcome to apply. This is a great opportunity for FACS employees on temporary assignment arrangements.

About The Role
The Administrator we require will have a high level of energy, enthusiasm and a genuine commitment to achieving positive results. You will be adaptable to a varied role, with the ability to work under little supervision. 
The person will be regarded as someone who is passionate about supporting the rights of children and families, holds values in working collaboratively with mutual trust and respect and holds strong administrative and customer service capabilities.

What You Need
  • Excellent administrative and organisational skills.
  • High level written, verbal and interpersonal skills.
  • A pleasant and professional telephone manner.
  • Excellent word processing and data entry skills, including excellent MS Word processing capabilities, proficiency with Outlook, internet and data-base applications.
  • A flair and drive for outstanding customer service.
  • A 'can do', positive attitude and a strong work ethic.
  • Ability to organise and prioritise workloads to meet deadlines in a busy environment.
  • Experience in the health / disability sector or early childhood setting is desired.
  • Live local to the Hills District of Sydney.
