An exciting opportunity exists for a Chef to join the Paradox Coffee Roasters, a unique coffee roastery and eatery.

dern day urban village for the local community, the Group aims to create a platform for local food lovers & artisans to showcase their skills & flair across our various concepts through clever design, offerings & environments, ensuring a unique experience for our patrons.
An exciting opportunity exists for a Chef to join the Paradox Coffee Roasters, a unique coffee roastery and eatery.

Essential Criteria:
  • Proven experience in a similar role with an open and fresh mindset to evolving the food offering;
  • Solid understanding of produce, culinary techniques and kitchen equipment;
  • Great palate, understanding of ingredients with a focus on detail;
  • A varied background in producing consistent, high quality, volume focused food;
  • Extensive track record in operational components of the kitchen (including line checks, close down; running kitchen schedules, temperature checks and controls);
  • Good understanding and practical application of legislation including WHS and Food Safety requirements;
  • Strong leadership ability to provide training, education and advice to staff in regards to all kitchen, menu and food related matters;
  • Understanding of financials and budgeting will be highly regarded; and
  • Tertiary qualifications in commercial cookery or other relevant discipline desirable.
