Maternity Leave

Future Kids Child Care Wyndham Waters is currently seeking an enthusiastic and passionate person to act as 2IC at our service.  This is a temporary position to cover maternity leave.  
We require a Diploma qualified educator with tw
o years' experience as an Educator and one year's experience as a 2IC.  Experience with QikKids would be an advantage.

The role
As the 2IC you will be responsible for assisting the Service Manager in the day to day running of the Service as well as motivating and inspiring your team of Educators. You will have the support of the team of Early Childhood Professionals working for Sparrow Group Management to support and guide you through the day to day operations of managing the Child Care Service.
The candidate
As the ideal candidate, you will present with a strong understanding of the EYLF and NQS and have had several years' experience within the Early Childhood Sector. You will also have previous experience in either a Director or Assistant Director Position and be confident when communicating with all levels of management. 
The ideal candidate for this position will hold:
·         Bachelor of Education (Early Childhood Studies), Diploma of Children's Services or Advanced Diploma in Children's Services.
·         Current Senior First Aid certificate
·         CPR including Anaphylaxis and Asthma
·         Acceptance from Working with Children Check
