Marketing and Communications is a professional service unit responsible for communicating the University’s values and messages in ways that target audiences – including prospective students, current students, staff, alumni, donors and external influencers – notice and understand, and which prompt them to action. 

The Brand and Marketing Services unit provides creative services to support marketing and communications strategic initiatives, including graphic design, editorial, writing and multimedia and photography. 

Reporting to the Brand and Insights Manager you will provide high level advice and specialist assistance to staff at all levels across the University on market research projects, leverage market research undertaken and prepare analysis, interpretation and application of market research results.

Position requirements include:
  • degree in marketing, psychology or a related discipline with market research focus
  • demonstrated experience in a market research role in a research agency or in a corporate or public sector environment
  • well developed project management and organisation skills with the capacity to manage competing priorities, maintain attention to detail and to meet deadlines
  • strong awareness of market, customer and product trends and the ability to apply this strategically.

Remuneration package: $100,768 - $109,781 p.a. (which includes a base salary Level 7 $85,150 - $92,766 p.a., leave loading and up to 17% employer’s contribution to superannuation).

This position is subject to the completion of a satisfactory probation period for new appointees. Membership of a University approved superannuation scheme is a condition of employment for new appointees.
