Australian International School Malaysia,Learning Support Teacher at Middle and Senior School, AIS Malaysia, Kuala Lumpur

  • Design, implement and evaluate strategies to support students'  learning
  • Advise teachers on strategies to support students learning in the classroom
  • Collect data on student achievement, social-emotional functioning and behaviour to inform student case conferences
  • Prepare resource materials to support students' Individual Learning Plans
  • Assist students in learning to use any technology indicated on the student's Individual Learning Plan
  • Attend meetings to discuss student progress and to assist in the development of Individual Learning Plans
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Head of School

  • Proven skills in designing, implementing and evaluating differentiated learning experiences for students
  • Proven skills in using ICT to improve student engagement and learning
  • Spoken and written English are used for all School communications and as such high standards of English communication skills in reading, writing, speaking and listening are required to be successful in this position

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Education
  • Eligibility for teacher registration in home country

  • At least 2 years of experience dealing with children in a classroom environment
