This Australian Owned Defence Success Story offering design &  engineering services to the Defence, Government & Corporate Environments. The growth the business has experienced in the last few years has been astounding. Based in a beautiful restored historic building now presented as a charming office fitout based North.  this role is a new role, requiring a person with the dynamic, dedicated &  enthusiastic capacity to grow as the business expands around them.  Capacity to be considered for a Defence Security Clearance is necessary.

Reporting to the Office Manager & the CEO, you will be working autonomously but also based in a small team in an office that is situated front of house.
  • Do you have end-to-end book-keeping skills perhaps through working with complex SME business models?
  • Are you great with numbers and both system & financially savvy, across AP, AR & other financial requirements working in this space working solo?

We need a hybrid candidate who wishes to work across both administrative, project & financial spaces depending on the needs of the business. You will be selected for your work ethic, your drive and your wish for being in a role that you can not only make your own but grow as the business innovates forward. Duties are:-
  • Processing data related to Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable, including invoicing, processing of supplier invoices & payment advice, reconciliation, financial analysis & reporting via the use of Tencia.
  • Processing/coordinating travel requests, liaising with travel agent and facilitating any changes to travel plans as required
  • Petty cash; general day to day office duties including administration support to the Office Manager across a multitude of different disciplines
  • Provide reception support including directing phone calls, faxes, mail, etc & coordinate freight requirements
  • Possible back up Project Administration and Document Control (training would be required) should the business have a need in the future
  • Front of House responsibilities as an when required, greeting & inducting VIP Guests
  • Other Clerical an Management support tasks as allocated by the Office Manager of CFO
You will demonstrate:-
