Administration / Scheduling Officer / Customer Service
In Vogue Blinds is a family business with over 30 years' experience in supplying custom made window and soft furnishings to both residential and commercial clients. Our office and showroom has recently relocated to newly renovated premises in Hawthorn where we are seeking a well organised individual with strong attention to detail to join our small busy team.


Your primary responsibility would be to provide efficient and effective administrative support by:
  • managing the day to day scheduling ensuring timely installation of our custom made products
  • providing excellent customer service when liaising with our customers, suppliers and installers
  • maintaining accurate customer records
  • tracking daily deliveries of product and keeping an up to date record of inwards and outwards goods
  • providing accurate weekly reports on current orders, forward orders and completed jobs
To successfully achieve this you will be working closely with the sales team, customers, installers and suppliers.
You will be highly organised with excellent time management and customer service skills. The ability to handle pressure, changing priorities and multi-tasking are essential and you will definitely need a proactive approach to resolving queries and problems.

Additional responsibilities include answering the phone, filing, invoicing and following up on aged receivables. Occasional showroom assistance may be required and a flexible 'can – do' attitude is a must.

A high level of computer literacy with a minimum typing speed of 20WPM would be key to your success in this often fast paced role. Proficient and accurate use of Excel, Word, Outlook and data entry skills are essential.
Previous administration experience within the window soft furnishing industry along with experience using MYOB and Evernote are also highly desirable.
Hours of position could be flexible to suit the right applicant, Ideally you would be available for immediate start.
