Red Gum Child Care Centre,Office Administrator Jobs in Australia


We are seeking an office administrator to assist with the running of the business. Experience aside, we're looking for a bright, organised and proactive customer service professional who is dedicated to taking our family communications to the next level!

Essential Criteria:

• Diploma or Certificate III in Children's Services preferred
• Current Working with Children Check (or willing to obtain)
• First Aid Certificate & Child Protection Training (or willing to obtain)
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
• Enthusiastic, positive and strong work ethic

• Proven experience across a range of duties
• Customer service and sales skills
• Can-do attitude
• Team player
• Relationship-building skills
• Database management
• Ability to multitask and meet deadlines

The role includes, but is not limited to the following:

-Greeting families and providing friendly customer service to our valued educators, parents and children
-General office duties such as answering phones, managing emails and Facebook page, electronic filing, invoicing, entering new enrolments, checking the mail 
-Invoicing customer accounts and ensuring payments
-Typing of newsletters
-Managing our waitlist and showing new families through the Centre
-Managing annual leave diary and weekly rosters
-Ordering and managing stock
-Keeping our software up to date
-Lodging payroll and attendance information
-Booking in and distributing information regarding Centre and community events, excursions, Professional Development Training
-Entering receipts for budgeting purposes
-Keeping up to date logs
