Integrity Executive,Senior Contracts Officer Jobs in Australia

We are looking for an experienced Contracts Officer preferably with State Government or Public Sector experience to undertake a s/term contract.
Role requirements:
  • Responsible for the general management and administration of high value contractual arrangements.
  • Evaluates and recommends contract variation proposals with a view to improving service outcomes.
  • Maintains the contract administration system and subsidiary systems to ensure a full and complete record of all contracts, including contract amendments and variations.
  • Monitors contractor/supplier performance KPI's against service delivery requirements to ensure standards and contract outcomes are met in accordance with the contract.
  • Manages contractors payments to ensure all invoicing arrangements and supporting documentation are compliant to the terms of the contract.
  • Provides information and advice in relation to contractor/supplier performance and the administration of contracts to ensure risks are managed and successful outcomes (achieved) maximised.
  • Analyses and resolves issues raised by contractors and suppliers.
  • Research into improved methods and procedures of contract administration.
  • Preparation of contract documentation.
  • Evaluates requests for contract price reviews, negotiates with the contractor an agreed price variation and prepares the appropriate contract variation documentation.
  • Prepares financial analysis and modelling of contracts.
  • Verifies contractors invoices are in accordance with the terms of the contract and recommends the invoice for payment
  • Ensure asset and equipment registers are maintained and up to date
  • Experience in the management and tendering of contracts, in particular, facility management, supply of goods and services or design and construct delivery related projects.
  • Experience in contract development and contract administration.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of procurement policy and procedures as they relate to the public sector
  • Financial modelling skills related to contract development and contract administration
  • Demonstrated computer literacy skills incl. Microsoft Office suite.
