The Shire of Carnarvon has a challenging and rewarding career opportunity for a Governance  Officer - Administration. We are seeking a self-motivated and enthusiastic person with a commitment to the provision of high quality customer service.

The primary function of this position is to prepare and/or facilitate tender processes, contracts, leases and maintain registers in accordance with legislative requirements and Council policy and assist in the preparation of grant applications and business cases.
Applicants will need to be energetic, have advanced computer and organisational skills and a willingness to be part of a small, busy team.  Demonstrated experience in community engagement, government liaison and grant/report writing will be an advantage.
A cash component of between $39,886 to $52,480 per annum is offered depending on your qualifications and experience (This package is exclusive of allowances as per Shire of Carnarvon Policies) Attractive Superannuation benefits (up to 11.50%), and five weeks annual leave.
